Travel Arrangements

Getting There Is Easy!

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is one of America's best-connected airports. More than 70 million people a year travel through O'Hare Airport. Located 20 miles (32 kilometers) northwest of downtown Chicago, Chicago O'Hare International Airport is served directly by train, taxi, shared-ride van, shuttle, and bus. Extensive short-and long-term parking is available.

CTA Train Services

The Chicago Transit Authority's Blue Line provides a 24-hour service between Chicago O'Hare International Airport and downtown Chicago. Trains run every eight minutes from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekdays and every ten minutes from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The CTA station is located on the lowest level of the main parking garage and is accessible by pedestrian tunnels from Terminals 1, 2, and 3.

Taxi and Shared-Ride Van Services

Taxis at Chicago O'Hare International Airport are available at all terminals from the lower level curbfront. Metered rates apply to all destinations. Chicago O'Hare International Airport shared-ride vans are also available at all terminals from the lower level curbfront.

Bus and Shuttle Services

Located on the ground floor of the elevated parking garage, the bus/shuttle center is the primary pickup point for hotel courtesy and Pace buses as well as shuttles for car rental agencies and parking. The center is accessible by tunnels from Terminals 1, 2, and 3.

Airport Shuttle Transportation

For your convenience, NASP has negotiated specially discounted shuttle rates to/from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and the Hyatt Regency Chicago. GO Airport Express will provide shared-ride van service for NASP convention attendees at the following rates*:

Single One-Way: $25
Single Round-Trip $45
Pair One-Way (per person): $17
Pair Round-Trip (per person): $33

*Rates do not include a Chicago MPEA $1.00 airport departure tax

An hourly shuttle operates between O'Hare International and Midway airports (7:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.)

Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) is located on the city's southwest side just ten miles (16 kilometers) from downtown Chicago. One of the fastest growing airports in the United States, Chicago Midway Airport serves over 17 million travelers each year. Chicago Midway Airport offers easy access to/from central Chicago via taxi, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Orange Line buses, regional buses, and downtown shuttles. Extensive short- and long-term parking is available, with the six-story Midway Airport parking garage offering access to the new Midway terminal building.

Train Services

Midway Airport is connected to downtown Chicago by the CTA Orange Line. Tickets can be purchased at the Midway Orange Line station, which is conveniently located near the airport right across Cicero Avenue. The Orange Line makes stops throughout southwest Chicago and travels right into The Loop. For further information, call: +1 312 836 7000.

Taxi and Shared-ride Van Services

Taxis are available on a first come, first served basis. Shared-ride vehicles are also available for travelers. All taxi rides are metered except for rides to downtown Chicago, which are a flat rate.

Bus and Shuttle Services

Located in front of the main terminal building, the bus / shuttle center is the primary pickup area for parking shuttles.

Airline Discounts

United Airlines is offering a special discount off applicable rates for NASP convention attendees traveling from cities in the domestic United States and Canada where United and its travel partners provide service to Chicago. To receive the NASP convention discount, you must refer to Meeting ID 586MP. NASP convention discounts are not valid for use in conjunction with any other fare discounts. Mileage Plus® members may accrue mileage on United Airlines for tickets purchased at discounted NASP convention rates.
