Description:
Using lecture, role play, and videos, attendees will learn how to
- effectively consult with implementers on the development of the four methods of altering behavior: two for increasing desired behaviors and two for decreasing or eliminating problem behaviors;
- use a consulting technique that builds buy-in for the behavior intervention plan before plan development;
- translate analysis into a comprehensible but brief behavior plan; and
- evaluate whether the plan is likely to result in desired student outcomes.
