MS187: Leading and Innovating Through Strength-Based Inquiry

Friday, February 15, 2013 10:00 AM–11:50 AM

The presenters will facilitate a discussion about how school psychologists can apply their knowledge of motivation and learning to the teams on which they serve. Specifically, through emphasizing positive psychology and the value of inquiry, we will present a framework for developing a strengths-based approach to meeting all students' needs. Session attendees will learn strategies for developing meaningful questions, pursuing these questions with school-based teams, and developing capacity for strengths-based inquiry on a systemic level.
