The speakers will provide the rationale for moving early childhood and preschool programs into RTI practices and describe promising models currently being implemented. Participants will learn about young children’s unique needs, tiered instructional models aligned with early childhood and NASP recommended practices, and a problem-solving process to address children’s needs. The workshop will include large and small group discussion and activities and videotaped examples. Participants will learn about leadership skills and resources to build consensus and implement RTI at the preschool level.
