Description:

The purpose of this presentation is to explore the influences of media and society on the career and family decisions of female school psychologists. A sampling of "how to" media targeted toward women, including books and articles, will be discussed. Novice, intermediate, and advanced practitioners will gain knowledge about how professional women can be manipulated by society's expectations for them, and receive suggestions on how to navigate the complex landscape of career and family balance.
