PI061: Integrating Strength-Based Perspectives with Multicultural Consultation

School psychologists frequently struggle to support consultees in diverse, urban schools due to deficit-based perspectives for students of color, limited ecological approaches, and lack of cultural responsiveness. Therefore, this Participant Information Exchange integrates three consultation foci (i.e., individual, relationship, and system levels) and three intervention perspectives (i.e., problem exploration, strength-based, and multicultural). Participants will: (1.) identify relevant challenges and (2.) formulate questions to direct the process.
