PA021: Using Brief Experimental Analysis to Identify Math Computation Interventions

This session will describe how Brief Experimental Analysis (BEA) can be utilized to test evidence-based math computation interventions. Participants will learn how to utilize assessment practices and a skills sequence to determine the computation area that requires intervention and students’ math computation instructional level. Participants will also learn how evidence-based acquisition and fluency math computation interventions can be tested in a BEA framework.
