PI002: Collaboration for a Curriculum of Caring: The Zeitgeist is Right

The proposed session describes a collaboration among faculty and students from School Psychology and English Education to collaboratively design, teach and evaluate standards-based English curricula that integrates social-emotional learning. Attendees will review our collaborative curriculum—and the process we used to create it—and engage in a dialogue around questions and dilemmas that have driven our work. Our presentation shares our efforts to proactively and collaboratively create holistic curricula that integrate academic, social and emotional content.
