PI003: Where Do I Begin Advocating: Recommendations for School Psychologists

This presentation explores findings from qualitative interviews with leading advocates in school psychology. The major themes include how graduate students and early-career school psychologists can develop their advocacy skills, where to begin their advocacy work, and advice as to how to bring a new generation of advocates into the field. Attendees will benefit by increasing their knowledge of how to effectively advocate as school psychologists.
