PI021: Collaborating to Create Access: School Psychologists and School-Based Health Centers

Friday, February 21, 2014 9:00 AM–9:45 AM

School-based health centers (SBHCs) are on the rise nationally, yet there remains a need for improved collaboration between schools and SBHCs to better meet the needs of at-risk youth. By utilizing our training in collaboration, school psychologists can meet this need. This participant information exchange session will synthesize the research on SBHCs, guiding participants through a discussion about how school psychologists can collaborate to create access to health and mental health services for at-risk students.
