MS089: The Reading Brain for Practitioners

School psychologists can incorporate relevant knowledge gained from recent neuroscience research to help struggling readers. This session will teach practitioners how the brain learns to read, why some brains have reading problems, and research-based intervention strategies that can change the trajectory for struggling readers. Attendees will receive guided practice with case studies.
