Welcome back to Communiqué Online. I hope you check this page every month because each month you will find something different. Just as importantly, I hope you contribute your news items to “People” and “My Three Links” because those features in particular are meant to be member-to-member resources—written by members for members.

For November, Communiqué Online adds a new feature: reprints of articles from state newsletters that their editors have nominated as worthy of national attention. We start with an article from the Ohio association by Goss, Marolt, and Lloyd entitled, “First Things First: Ensuring High-Quality Instruction for All Learners.” Communiqué Online will feature more such articles in the future as state newsletter editors nominate them.

As an added feature, we are publishing some sample newsletters provided by the school psychologists in the Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia to accompany the article in Communiqué entitled, “Raising School Psychological Awareness Through District-Wide Newsletters.”
